4 people injured during drive-by shooting at northeast Houston convenience store, police say

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating after four people were reportedly injured during a shooting in northeast Houston,

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 6729 Lockwood Drive around 6:45 p.m.

Officers said four people were standing outside, three men and a woman, when a black 4-door truck, possibly a Dodge with silver rims drove by and two people inside the vehicle started shooting.

One of the men and the women were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All four victims are expected to survive.

Investigators are working to determine if the victims knew one another and if they were possibly targeted.
