Free lifetime entry passes to National Parks available for Gold Star families, US veterans No description found
HOUSTON – The National Park Service announced that Gold Star families and Veterans will have free entrance to national parks, according to NPS’ website .
NPS said the free military pass is a way to thank military personnel and their families for their service and for them to explore recreational opportunities at the parks.
A free lifetime military pass will be available for Gold Star Families and U.S. military veterans and the free annual military pass will be available for current US military members and their dependents. The passes will give veterans and their families unlimited access to more than 2,000 recreation areas, including national parks, wildlife refuges and forests.
The lifetime passes will be available starting Nov. 11.
