Man fatally shot during drive-by in southwest Houston, police say (KPRC 2)

HOUSTON – Officers with the Houston Police Department are searching for a suspect accused of killing a man in a drive-by shooting in southwest Houston Monday.

Police received reports of a shooting in the 9700 block of Braeburn Glen Boulevard at about 9:40 p.m.

Officers said when they arrived at the scene, they found the 33-year-old victim on the side of the street.

According to investigators, the victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to Ben Taub General Hospital, where police said he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses told police a white newer model Jeep Renegade fled the scene at a high rate of speed immediately after the shooting. At this time, police said there is no known suspect description.
