$20K worth of methamphetamine, catalytic converters seized during traffic stop in north Harris County, Pct. 4 says (Pct. 4)

HOUSTON – A suspect is in custody following a traffic stop that led to Precinct 4 deputy constables seizing $20,000 worth of methamphetamine and catalytic converters in north Harris County Tuesday afternoon.

The traffic stop was conducted in the Memorial Hills subdivision near Briarcreek Boulevard and FM 1960 Road.

Constable Mark Herman said the traffic stop led to the seizure of 378.8 grams/13.36 oz. of methamphetamine. According to Justice.gov, the amount has a street value of approximately $20,000.

Deputies said the suspect was also in possession of catalytic converters.

The suspect was transported to the Harris County Jail for manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance.
