DISTURBING VIDEO: Female clerk robbed at gunpoint by 2 suspects at Sharpstown cell phone store

HOUSTON – Houston police are on the lookout for two men who they say robbed a cell phone store in Sharpstown on Nov. 24.

It happened at the 7600 block of Clarewood Drive at around 11 a.m.

Surveillance video obtained by police showed two men casually browsing available cell phones inside the store and a female worker standing behind the counter. One of the men approached the woman and began talking with her.

Within minutes of speaking with the woman, surveillance video caught the man pulling out a gun from his gray hoodie pocket and pointing it at her. The other suspect then ran towards the back to gain access to the phone inventory.

Meanwhile, the suspect that spoke with the woman held her as he and the second suspect grabbed cash from registers after the woman complied, according to police. She was seen fearing for her life as she was held by the suspect while trying to open the registers for them.

In the video, the woman was then dragged and thrown towards the back of the store before both suspects fled the scene.

Police described both suspects below:

  • Suspect 1 - Male between 6-foot-1 to 6-foot 2 weighing 210 to 215 pounds, last seen wearing a gray hoodie and gray pants.
  • Suspect 2 - Male between 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 weighing 140 to 145, last seen wearing a white hoodie and black pants.
