18-wheeler crashes into Pappas Bar-B-Q Restaurant in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – First responders are calling this wreck a miracle after an 18-wheeler crossed several lanes of traffic and crashed into a restaurant Tuesday.

Firefighters with Montgomery County said the crash happened at a Pappas Bar-B-Q Restaurant off the North Freeway near Woodson Road in The Woodlands around 7 p.m.

According to authorities, a vehicle hit the truck’s trailer, causing it to lose control. The truck drove across three lanes before crashing into a guard rail. It then crossed four lanes on the feeder road and hit a restaurant, first responders said.

Firefighters said both drivers suffered minor injuries and employees were inside the restaurant at the time but none of them were hurt.
