Jury rules college student arrested on hover board not guilty No description found
HOUSTON – A man was found not guilty after allegations he resisted arrest while riding his hover board at a mall in Tomball.
Jesse Valdez, 22, was arrested while riding his hoverboard at the Willowbrook Mall last September.
The Precinct 4 Constable's Office said an officer approached Valdez and his brother after seeing him on a hover board, which are not allowed in the mall. Mall policy states that guests who violate rules will be asked to leave. Valdez said he never got that chance.
Valdez's brother recorded the entire incident in a video
The jury decided Thursday Valdez was not guilty of resisting arrest.
