HOUSTON – A southeast Harris County homeowner was shot Monday as he opened the door to receive a pizza he ordered.
The shooting was reported around 11 p.m. at a home in the 11600 block of Eaglewood.
Investigators said the delivery person was robbed outside the home and at least one shot was fired, hitting the homeowner in the leg.
The homeowner was taken to a hospital. He is expected to survive.
