Horse rescue caught on video at Cypress Trails Equestrian Center

HARRIS COUNTY – KPRC 2 viewer Shannon Walther captured videos of emergency crews attempting to rescue several horses stuck in high water at the Cypress Trails Equestrian Center in Humble.

Walther said she lives near the equestrian center and is aware of how badly it floods in the area.

"I know when this place floods. I wanted to check on it," Walther said.

She said crews from the Harris County Pct. 4 Constables were trying to rescue at least two horses.

"I saw two horses with water up to their heads," Walther said. "One of the horses got swept under the bridge."

They desperately need all the help they can get! Horses are drowning and others are being swept under the bridge. Please help if you can!"
