Bush twins make stop in Houston to show support for Hurricane Harvey cleanup

HOUSTON – The Bush twins greeted a group of volunteers from SBP, a group that was formed in Saint Bernard Parish in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina.

The sisters, Jenna and Barbara, greeted volunteers while in town for a stop on their book tour. Their book is entitled: Sisters First.

The group worked Tuesday morning to install a front porch and dry wall, cleaning up remnants of Hurricane Harvey nearly three months after the deadly storm.

"I was here right after the hurricane and it was such devastation.  There are still people who need help here; it's why we are so happy to be here with some amazing volunteers," Jenna Bush Hagar said.

The organization was one of the few selected by the J.J. Watt Foundation to receive funding from Watt's fundraising efforts.
