Barber accused of touching himself during children's haircuts

SPRING, Texas – A barber was arrested Wednesday after a woman said she saw him touching himself while cutting her children’s hair, according to authorities.

Jeremiah Siqueido was arrested at a barbershop in the 23300 block of Aldine Westfield Drive.

According to Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables, the woman said Siqueido took numerous breaks in a back room while cutting the hair of her three children. Eventually, she followed Siqueido to the back room and saw him inappropriately touching himself while staring in the direction of her and her children.

Siqueido was charged with indecency with a child. He was being held in the Harris County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

According to court records, in 2005, Siqueido pleaded guilty to scalding a child younger than 15-years-old with hot water.

The owner of the barber shop where Siqueido worked said he did not know about Sequeido's past when he hired him as a barber. He also said the latest incident has ruined his business's reputation.

"The policemen were putting him in the cop car and I talked to the policemen and made me aware of what really happened," owner Frank Montalvo said. "This has been very difficult for any company for this to happen."

Montalvo said Siqueido worked for him for three years as a barber.

Montalvo said he feels terrible about the incident.

"I'm very sorry this incident happened. I don't blame her. I would react the same way," he said.
