HOUSTON – An Uber Eats driver en route to deliver food to a customer was stopped and arrested by Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables, but the customer still got their order — thanks to the officers.
Constable Mark Herman said his deputies pulled over a driver on N. Spring Drive over the weekend whose car had a paper license plate that didn’t belong to the car.
The driver, later identified as 47-year-old Ronaldo Carrillo, was working for Uber Eats at the time. He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Tampering with a Government Record on a $100 bond.
