Constable Mark Herman said his deputies pulled over a driver on N. Spring Drive over the weekend whose car had a paper license plate that didn’t belong to the car.

The driver, later identified as 47-year-old Ronaldo Carrillo, was working for Uber Eats at the time. He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Tampering with a Government Record on a $100 bond.

To ensure the customer’s order wasn’t left behind, though, deputies finished the delivery themselves.

“Deputies not only enforce the law but also go the extra mile to serve our community,” Constable Herman said in a statement.
