‘The tree clearly won’: Texas police officer ‘A-OK’ after Christmas tree mishap at school

ALEDO, Texas – A Texas police officer is “A-OK” after a Christmas tree toppled over on top of him at a school in North Texas.
The moment was captured on security cameras and shared by Aledo ISD. Aledo is a town just west of Fort Worth.
In the video, you can see the officer, identified as Officer Simpson, lay down on the ground and start grabbing at the bottom plate of the tree. Moments later, the tree topples over, on top of the officer.
“A little fun to end your week... in the ongoing battle at Walsh Elementary over where the tree should be placed... the tree clearly WON!,” the school district said on Facebook, poking fun at the moment.
The district goes on to say Officer Simpson was OK.
