#TakeItBack VIDEO: Woman steals Astros wreath from League City home's front door

HOUSTON – A woman was caught on camera stealing a Houston Astros wreath off of a door in League City.

The theft happened on Monday at about 11 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Elm Pointe.

Ring surveillance footage shows the woman casually strolling to the door, grabbing the wreath and taking off.

"It was very bold and brazen. It didn't seem right. It didn't sit well with us,” said homeowner Scott Trotti.

Trotti said the wreath cost about $100 and while he’s hoping to get it back, he won’t let it get him down.

"There's so much more to be concerned with in this life. Something like a wreath being stolen is just minor. We want to focus on the positive things in life and the Astros winning the World Series would be the icing on the cake," Trotti said.

Trotti has filed a police report.

If you recognize the woman, you’re asked to call the League City Police Department.
