Baytown man accused of trying to set Harris County Jail on fire

HOUSTON – A man is facing arson charges after investigators say he tried to set fire to the Harris County Jail on Friday.

Jose Michel put a candle to an electrical light fixture, causing a fire, according to court documents. 

Michel is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
