MAGNOLIA, Texas – It's a concert for a cause! An event this weekend in Magnolia promises some big performances and a chance to help our troops and their families.
This will be the third annual Concert in the Country. Every year, organizers transform a horse farm into a music venue.

Three well-known names in country music will perform this year. The Josh Abbott Band will headline the concert. Jason Cassidy and Jake Worthington will also take the stage.
The event is directly tied to the Boots For Troops program, which sends custom care packages to deployed troops.
Boots For Troops also pays for flights to help active-duty men and women fly back home to spend the holidays with their families.
"Last year, we were able to pay for 30 flights for service members all over the world," said Lindsey Rogers, director of operations for Boots For Troops.
Rogers said 100 percent of the proceeds from Concert in the Country goes to Boots For Troops programs.
There will also be live and silent auctions, vendors, food trucks and costume contests for children and adults.
The event is being held from 4-11 p.m. Saturday. The farm is located at 32931 Wright Road, in Magnolia.
