2 wanted in robbery of oxycodone, Soma, other pills at southeast Houston Walgreens

HOUSTON – Two people are wanted after a large amount of pills were taken during a robbery at a Walgreens in southeast Houston, according to Harris County Precinct 8 officials. 

The robbery took place around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 16500 block of El Camino Real. 

Surveillance video shows a man and a woman enter the store and begin looking around. In the video, the man can be seen walking up to the counter and handing the pharmacist a note demanding oxycodone, Soma, hydrocodone and Xanax.  The man indicated to the pharmacist that he had a pistol in his waistband, officials said. 

In the video, the man can be seen gripping his waistband. 

A woman appears to serve as his lookout, according to investigators. 

After the pharmacist complied with their demands, the man and the woman left the store on foot and headed toward El Camino Real. 

Both the man and woman are described as being Hispanic and in their early 20s and both are  
approximately 5 feet, 3 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall.  

The male has a goatee and was wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark-colored pants and a grey hat. The female was wearing dark-colored pants and a gray, hooded sweatshirt.
