Man shot in face, killed after fight at southwest Houston restaurant, police say

HOUSTON – A man was killed after he was shot in the face during a shooting outside a southwest Houston restaurant, police said.

The shooting was reported around 7:45 p.m. at the La Union restaurant in the 9500 block of South Wilcrest.

Houston police said Johnny Paramo Torres, 25, had gotten into an argument that turned into a fight with three other men inside the restaurant. Police said the men left the restaurant and when Torres followed them, one of the men pulled out a gun and started shooting. Torres was hit several times, police said. 

The group of men ran to a newer model silver Infiniti sedan and drove away, according to police.

No arrests have been made.
