HOUSTON – Authorities have identified the woman arrested Thursday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left another woman seriously injured in northwest Harris County.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Audris Jordan, 32, was driving a gray Toyota Camry in the 1700 block of FM 1960 when she hit a woman crossing the road and kept driving.

Investigators said one of Jordan's family members arrived at the scene as she was being arrested.

Deputies said the victim was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.
