Motorcyclist killed in crash near Bush Intercontinental Airport

HOUSTON – A motorcyclist was killed Thursday in a crash near George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The crash was reported about 11 a.m. at the intersection of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Aldine-Bender Road.

Houston police said two motorcycles were racing south on JFK when one of them slammed into the back of a pickup that was stopped for a red light at Aldine-Bender. The motorcycle and its driver flew through the air and hit another pickup going west on Aldine-Bender, police said.

Police said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second motorcycle did not stop, police said.

The drivers of the pickups were not injured, police said.
