NEEDVILLE, Texas – A 14-year-old Needville Junior High School student has been arrested and charged with making a terroristic threat, according to Fort Bend County authorities.
On Tuesday, the school notified authorities of the possible threat.
Authorities found a junior high school student who posted an image of a shotgun on Snapchat with a caption that read, "Don't come to skoo tm @needvill," authorities said.
A fellow student also told authorities that he heard the student say, "I'm not scared; I'm planning on doing this."
The teenager was arrested and is being held in the Fort Bend County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls issued a message to parents: "Please parents, this is serious. Talk to your kids and be active in their lives.”
