HOUSTON – Firefighters contained a fire at an abandoned mansion in southwest Houston early Saturday morning, investigators said.
The fire started around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Fuqua and Scott streets.

A gas line also caught fire and crews battled the flames for hours, investigators said.
KPRC's news team was not permitted to be near the burning structure.
There are no reports of injuries, investigators said.
