Body found in north Harris County cattle pond, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man's body was found in a cattle pond Thursday, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The man was found in the 16500 block of Pentonshire Lane in north Harris County. Homicide and crime scene investigators responded to the scene.

Authorities said it appeared that the man was in his 20s.

No signs of injuries were found on the man and his body was not badly decomposed, according to investigators.

His body was found in a small lake on private property.

A neighbor noticed the body.
