HOUSTON – If you are hosting Thanksgiving at your house, you are probably buying your turkey this weekend.
We checked around for the best deals on a bird. We found Kroger, HEB and Brookshire Brothers are all offering free frozen turkeys up to 14 pounds with the purchase of a spiral-sliced ham.

Walmart has frozen Butterball turkeys for 98 cents a pound. A 16-pound bird will cost you $15.68.
HEB is also offering frozen turkeys for 47 cents a pound with a $20 purchase. A 16-pound turkey would cost you $7.52. Kroger is selling frozen turkeys for 49 cents a pound, making a 16-pound bird $7.84. As long as you have a Kroger card, no other purchase is necessary
Randall's has Honeysuckle white or Signature Farms frozen turkeys for the same 49 cents a pound. That would make a 16-pound turkey $7.84. To get that deal, you need to have a Randall's card and you have to spend $25 on other items at Randall's.
