Challenge came after friendly dispute on Twitter

HOUSTON – When the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers play in the World Series, there will be more than a championship on the line. Two hot dog restaurants are taking part in a friendly bet over who will win.

Good Dog Houston and Pink's Hot Dogs in Los Angeles had a friendly dispute on Twitter over which hometown team would win the World Series title. That led to a wager, where the hot dog shop of the losing city will pay the shop of the winning city to give away free hot dogs the day after the final game.

In addition, both Good Dog locations will debut the "Astros Dog" this week, as well as offer 50 percent off all Houston craft beers during every World Series game.
