HOUSTON – A Halloween costume drive is underway to help kids impacted by the floods in Katy.

Two moms have collected more than 500 costumes to offer several pop-up shops for families to find costumes without a fuss for this year’s holiday, according to a local report

"Costumes are expensive and this is one less thing families need to pay for," Becky Schmidt told Katy Magazine. "Halloween may be the last thing on parents' minds but it is on the minds of their kids."

Here are the locations of the pop-up shops:

Saturday, September 30, 2017
9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Bear Creek Elementary

Monday, October 2, 2017
5 p.m.-7 p.m.
Creech Elementary  (UH Campus)

Sunday, October 15, 2017

If you would like to help, costume collections are still underway at these locations. You can donate new and gently-used costumes in good condition, and school-aged sized costumes are the greatest need.
