Woman dies after fall from fifth-story window in north Houston

HOUSTON – A woman died Tuesday after falling from a fifth-story window at a north Houston apartment building.

The incident was reported about 12:35 p.m. near the intersection of Lyerly and Fulton streets.

According to Houston police, they do not believe foul play was involved in the woman’s death.

A KPRC 2 crew at the scene said the building appeared to be part of a retirement community.
