3 people shot inside Greenspoint Mall, police say


HOUSTON –  Three men were shot inside Greenspoint Mall Sunday afternoon, Houston police said.

The shooting was reported at 5:46 p.m. in the 12000 block of North Freeway.

Police said a 18-year-old man got into an argument with another man inside the mall. During the argument, police said the man pulled out a gun and shot the 18-year-old.  Two other bystanders were injured by the gunfire, officials said.

The gunman fled the scene.

Police said the 18-year-old man was wounded and taken to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital. Police said other two victims were treated and released at the scene.

The suspect is described as a thin black man, 5 feet 8 inches tall and long dread locks. Police believed he was accompanied by a black woman with red hair.
