"Profits from that day will go to local food banks to help those affected by this terrible tragedy," Valade said.

To participate in the fundraiser, guests just need to bring their hungry appetites to their nearest Chili's. Most restaurants are generally open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. To find the restaurant nearest you, click here.

He said that his company has provided $1,000,000 in relief pay as a gesture of support for more than 3,000 restaurant workers, called ChiliHeads, who have been affected since restaurants closed Friday due to Harvey.

The Brinker Family Fund has also been set up to help raise money for team members who need money to pay for rent and transportation, Valade said. To donate to the fund, click here.

Chili's opened its second restaurant in 1976 in Houston at a renovated flower shop on the corner of Richmond and Fountain View.
