Alligator takes shelter inside Lake Houston-area home

Animal will be returned to natural habitat

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – When officials were called to a home near Lake Houston after learning of a possible intruder, they certainly found one: An alligator, which had made its way into a flooded house.

Authorities with Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the home and found the animal.

The alligator will soon be delivered back to into its natural habitat.
