Human remains found at Chambers County Waste Management facility
No description foundCHAMBERS COUNTY, Texas – Human remains were found at a Chambers County Waste Management facility around 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to authorities.
An employee discovered remains of a man between the ages of 13 and 50 at the facility in the 4700 block of TriCity Beach Road, investigators said.
The remains were dumped some time Tuesday and were from solid waste collected in one of three counties: Harris, Liberty or Chambers.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify the body and determine a cause of death.
Detectives are reviewing missing persons reports.
