Houston police officer relieved of duty after DWI arrest

HOUSTON – A Houston police officer was relieved of duty this week after she was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Officer Stacey Suro, 47, was arrested Tuesday night, according to investigators. She has since been released from jail on bond.

A hearing about the case is scheduled for next week.

Suro is the same officer who was demoted in 2012 after an internal affairs investigation determined she posted nearly 100 risqué pictures of herself, some of them nude, on a modeling website.
