Man on bicycle shot, killed in SW Houston

HOUSTON – A man was found shot to death Saturday in southwest Houston, police said.

Houston Homicide detectives said a man discovered the body around 3:30 a.m. in the 8100 block of Riptide Drive and Beechnut. 

Investigators said it appears Morris Edward Nunn, 56, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

 Investigators said there is no suspect information regarding the shooting at this time. 

Unrelated to the shooting, officials said the responding ambulance was struck by a car while on Beechnut and Riptide Drive. Both the ambulance and the car were towed from the scene. The condition of the driver is unknown.
