Police: Security guard shoots robbery suspect at northwest Houston restaurant

HOUSTON – Houston police officers are investigating a shooting at Las Fuentes Taqueria near the intersection of Tidwell Road and Barrett Street.

Police said around a person was trying to rob the taqueria around 4:15 a.m.

A security guard on the property shot the suspect.  

Police have not released any other information.
