Police investigate shooting death of person found in Stude Park

HOUSTON – Police are investigating the shooting death of a person found under a bridge in Stude Park, officials said. 

Authorities were alerted at 6:51 p.m. that a person's body was lying under the bridge near White Oak Drive and Taylor Street.

Police said the victim was shot in the head and they believe it might have been a suicide.
