HOUSTON – Houstonians are encouraged to wear red Thursday to support the Rockets. That request comes straight from the top - Mayor Sylvester Turner.
Mayor Turner tweeted this out Wednesday morning: "Go @HoustonRockets! I'm declaring tomorrow "Go Rockets Day" at the City of Houston. Employees can wear Rockets gear #RunAsOne"

The mayor's proclamation comes one day after the Rockets lost to the Spurs in game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals. It was a close game in San Antonio that went into overtime. The Spurs now lead the series 3-2.
Game 6 is Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Toyota Center.
Recording artist Travis Scott designed a T-shirt for Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals vs. San Antonio.
The shirt will have the Rockets playoff slogan, “Run as One,” in his handwriting along with call outs to the artist.
