Deputies bust illegal game room behind mechanical shop in north Houston

HOUSTON – Deputies detained multiple people inside an illegal game room Friday night, officials said. 

According to authorities, deputies responded to a robbery call around 9 p.m. Friday near Mitchell Road and Turner Place Road. 

When they arrived they found multiple people inside an illegal game room being operated behind a mechanics shop, officials said. 

It is unknown if there was an actual robbery at the location, but Harris County Vice detained multiple people. 

It is unknown if anyone was arrested.
