Third lawsuit filed in reference to Church's Chicken floor collapse

LIVINGSTON, Texas – A new lawsuit has been filed as a result of the Church's Chicken floor collapse in Livingston.

It's the third lawsuit stemming from the incident.

The new lawsuit targets Polk County and several of the businesses that own and operate Church's Chicken.

The floor gave way and the fryer poured hot grease over workers in August 2016.

The employees suffered catastrophic burns and are seeking $150 million in damages.
