Intoxicated man arrested after stumbling onto school property with gun, police say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Marcus Gonzalez is being held in the Harris County Jail after being charged with having a gun on school property.

Gonzalez, 26, was intoxicated and stumbled onto Killough Middle School property around 11 a.m. on Feb. 9, according to authorities.

He didn't try to enter the building and didn't make any threats, reports said.

When police arrived and searched Gonzalez, they said they found a pistol.
