MISSOURI CITY, Texas – A high school principal in Missouri City is warning parents about an incident reported by a student.
Elkins High School principal, Deidra Lyons-Lewis issued a statement saying that a student was chased earlier this week by three men at a bus stop at the Mission Valley and Quail Grove Lane intersection.

The student said she was approached by three men in a white vehicle who began chasing her on foot when she ran away.
The student made it home safely and was not hurt.
Lewis said a report was filed with Missouri City police and the Fort Bend ISD Police Department has increased patrolling in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Missouri City police.
Lewis reminded parents to remind students to be aware of their surroundings.
The full statement from the school's principal reads:
"I want to make you aware of an incident that was reported to Elkins High School Administrators and the Missouri City Police Department today. An Elkins High School student reported that while waiting for a bus at the intersection of Mission Valley and Quail Grove Lane this morning, she was approached by three males who drove up in a white vehicle. As the men exited the vehicle, the student felt threatened and began running as the men chased her. The EHS student made it home safely and was unharmed.
"A report has been filed with the Missouri City Police Department, and as a precaution, the Fort Bend ISD Police Department will be conducting increased patrols in the area. If you believe you have any information that could aid in the investigation, please contact the Missouri City Police Department at (281)403-5868.
