FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – A woman is accused of stealing $260 in feminine care products from a grocery store in Friendswood.

Kristen Nicole McDaniel, 24, is charged with theft. Friendswood police said she stole items from the H-E-B on West Parkwood Avenue, near Friendswood Drive on Jan. 24.

When McDaniel was approached, police said she removed the stolen items from her purse, got into a vehicle and drove away.

One officer was able to find a phone number for McDaniel and contacted her. Police said she agreed to meet with the officer at the Police Department. She was then taken into custody.
