Goose Creek CISD bus catches fire near Baytown

BAYTOWN, Texas – A Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District bus caught fire Friday morning near Baytown.

The fire was reported about 7:50 a.m. near the intersection of State Highway 330 and Rollingbrook Drive.

Officials said that the bus was being driven to a repair shop when it caught fire.

No students were aboard the bus at the time of the fire, officials said.

Officials said the driver was not injured.
