New Carnival Cruise Lines ship set to sail from Galveston

GALVESTON, Texas – The newest ship in the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet is set to begin sailing from Galveston next year. 

The Carnival Vista comes with several features, including the world's first IMAX theater aboard a ship.

The Vista will offer two different seven-day cruises to the western Caribbean from Galveston beginning  Sept. 28 next year.

One trip will go to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

The other cruise will visit Mahogany Bay, Belize and Cozumel.
