Call for public's help after puppy thrown from vehicle

ALVIN, Texas – The Alvin Animal Adoption Center is asking for the public's help to pay medical bills of a new rescue.

Sydney, a lab mix puppy, was rescued after a witness said she was thrown from a moving car and hit by another vehicle. 

She suffers from a broken leg.

Sydney is currently being cared for at the Vet Hospital of Alvin.
