Men accused of stealing from northwest Houston home while dressed as cable workers

Police said men stole money, jewelry and prescription medication

HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for three men accused of pretending to be cable workers so they could steal from a home in northwest Houston.

Police said surveillance video shows the men driving up to the home near Hollister Street and Tidwell Road on Oct. 28. They said two of the men then advised the elderly couple living inside that their cable needed to be fixed.

One man got the male victim to go to the backyard, while another suspect got the victim's wife to go to the back porch area. That is when police said the third suspect entered the home and stole money, jewelry and prescription medication.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
