PASADENA, Texas – Thanks to a tip received by the Pasadena Police Department, 39 people allegedly being held against their will have been found in six different apartments.
Homeland Security Investigations was called to the scene around 5 p.m. Wednesday to an apartment building at 3002 Strawberry St. in Pasadena.
Three suspects have been arrested in connection to this case, police said.
The people who were found in the apartment were taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for administrative processing and interviews.
The people were from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico. There were 35 men (two juveniles) and four females.
