GALVESTON, Texas – A man was found shot to death on a Galveston street early Monday, according to police.
The shooting was reported just after 2 a.m. in the 400 block of Avenue G.
According to Galveston police, officers found an unconscious man, who appeared to have been shot, lying on the street. He was taken to John Sealy Hospital and was pronounced dead.
The man was identified as 37-year-old Christopher Williams, of Galveston.
Police said detectives are pursuing active leads.
