Dickens on the Strand extended in Galveston
Event extended for the first time in history

Severe weather and flooding put a damper on the festivities over the weekend, which led to lower-than-normal attendance numbers.
This is the first time in the festival's history that Dickens on the Strand will be extended.
The Galveston Historical Foundation eleased the schedule for next weekend:
Friday, Dec. 9
5 to 9 p.m.
Fezziwig's Beer Hall
Free Admission
Saturday, Dec. 10
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Strand.
Admission for visitors in costume: $4
Admission for visitors not in costume: $8
Unredeemed tickets purchased for last weekend’s event will be honored Saturday.
