Human bones found near park in Baytown

BAYTOWN, Texas – Bones found near Jenkins Park in Baytown has been confirmed as human remains.

The bone was found Oct. 16. The discovery was made by a little boy who was walking his dog.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Science said tests confirm the bone is human.

The case is now being investigated by Harris County Sheriff's Office homicide detectives and the medical examiner's office.
