DETROIT, Mich. – Four caskets lined the front of the pulpit at a Detroit, Michigan church on Friday, as emotions from family, friends, and strangers alike poured out.
The mother of the four, who was tortured and forced to watch as her children were murdered, sat silently in the front row at the ceremony.
She asked Pastor Ben Walls to read her farewell to her children.
"My dear babies, I love you all, you all were unique in your own way. I always encouraged each of you to be your own person to be a leader and not a follower and to stand up for what's right and Faith, you were successful," recited Walls.
The children were allegedly killed by Gregory Green, who is the father of the two younger children and the stepfather of older siblings.
